Heck, even try disabling all of that and see what happens. Make sure it matches the controller you're currently using. Double check which support mode is enabled, if any. If so, go to Big Picture > Settings > Controller Settings. I may be way off base, but my first thoughts on reading your posts are that you may have conflict issues with something which is managing the controllers, whether drivers or higher level software.Īside from reinstalling Warframe, I assume you've also entered its settings and force-set all controller configurations to default, to no success. These issues are super hard to search for info on, so it's no surprise you're frustrated. As expected, a voltmeter test indicates no issue with the batteries. So you're currently using the PS3 mode Afterglow, but that one has now developed a concerning issue where certain inputs cause it to power down in certain, specific situations, but those same inputs are not a problem in other situations. This occurs on both your Xbox controller, and the Afterglow which is in Xbox mode. Just making sure as it was unclear from this post whether that was the case, or if they were left-right reversed, which comes up much more often in searches for similar issues. Okay so looking at your other post on this in another thread, the reversal issue seems to be that trigger buttons are acting as shoulders, and your shoulders are acting as triggers. And the suck part is that I was happy that one controller was playing normal. Is there a reason why my controllers are doing this? AND is there a proper way that I can fix this because uninstalling them, nor the game worked. I'm checking for viruses as we speak but I have checked it before (written before about the same issue/ never had my controller shut down though). Only with weapons, is there a way to investigate this? I've been using controllers since I've played Warframe and do not have an appropriate desk/area(still a working progress) to play it via mouse/keyboard, which is why I play on controller and on my old flat-screen TV. I can not attack with my Warframe or else the controller shuts off!!!!! Not making this up, but it knocks out my controller with Brand New Duracell Optimum Batteries fresh out the pack (and I've checked them with a voltmeter as well) I can fight in my Tenno form, I can use my Warframes specials, but anytime I do one attack with my weapons (Pri,Sec,Mel), the controller shuts down. However, I just gained a newer issue on my controller where strangely. I've uninstalled/reinstalled Warframe, but the issues still persists. Don't know if that's an issue written with my controllers cause I tried to uninstall/reinstall them and they both still have the same issues. I'm having an issue with one of my Afterglows and my X-Box One (wired) Controller where both have the trigger and shoulder buttons reversed. I've got a new issue, I use what I consider my reliable controller (like it or not, it's a PS3 Afterglow Controller, and I do have an X-Box One) for my PC. It does not, at least not directly, I tried adjusting those settings and it had no effect on the problem. Update: After re-reading the Patch notes I thought this might have something to do with the new UI customizations for controller. Note: I'm not very good at any first or third person shooters on the keyboard, for me that would be a harder solution than just buying a new controller. I would certainly hope that this can be addressed, because for now the only solution I can see is to go get a new controller. (Unfortunately I can't use that controller to actually play as it has some other broken control buttons on it.) I was also able to fix the problem by inverting the move and look controls to the opposite sticks, but that's way too different for me to get used to playing that way. I did try using another controller in Warframe and did not have the movement issue. It seems like since this update the movement sensitivity is much higher with no way to adjust it, or at least that's the best I can tell from a few simple tests. The difference is all the other games I've tried are still playable without any kind of sudden or unexpectedly continuous movement issues. I tested this in a couple other first or third person games I have on my computer and it does take more of a tilt on the stick to move left than it does right, so I'm fairly certain something is slightly off in my controller. In Warframe a slight tap to the right is causing me to continue moving to the right even with my hands completely off the controller. And I believe that the previous poster is correct that the dead zone on the controller is somewhat off.
